All I needed to do was turn in my leased modem/router... and it did not go as planned.

After handing over the device, I was told that I'll receive an email shortly as my receipt. It didn't show up after 5 minutes and was told sometimes it takes a bit, but it will arrive. After driving home and checking my inbox and spam folder, I still had yet to receive the email/receipt.

I logged in to my account and didn't see any changes, so I then called into Support. That was more of a headache because it took three different representatives to finally achieve what I needed done... a simple removal of a leased device. That's it.

Well... after about 2+ hours, everything was cleared up, but could have been avoided if the in-store representative simply did their job in the first place!

I came in later in the afternoon to claim an offer to cut my bill current Cox by 50%. It seemed busy but I was greeted right away by a young man and helped out maybe 20 seconds later by Dora.
Dora helped me get in and out of there in about a minute or two, it couldn’t have been any longer than that. Super quick & easy.
10/10 recommend coming into the store instead of calling customer service, those people are lazy & worthless to the customers that pay all this crazy money for average internet.

Terrible customer service as you would expect from cox. It caused me to finally cancel my service. $400+ a month for several years gets you nothing. Feels AMAZING to finally cut the cord. Anyone still using Cox for anything is silly there are many cheaper better options out there now. Cut the cord you wont regret it! Fiber is a joke btw

I visited this location to settle a balance in my account, just like I did before. The first time I went, they mentioned they’d waive some of the fees, so I came back to pay the balance. However, the lady who helped me today, Dora, had a rude attitude and refused to waive any of the total amount. So I was not able to settle the payment.

Go to a different store you will walk in there with three strikes against you. Even with proof of your situation, they will find a way to screw you Out of your money and raise your bill You have been warned

Cox is the absolute worst. If you have any other options go there. Cox is the only thing available where I live now and I hate them, like actually feeling hate and loathing. They lie and lie, there have been unplanned outages at the same time for the past 3 days at around 1:30 am, which I work nights and that is when I need my Internet the most. I don't believe for a second that 3 outages at around the same time for 3 days in a row is unplanned. They just picked those hours to do planned work without telling anyone.

Cox is basically semi-evil, I count the days until Quantum Fiber is here (they are literally in the block north of me), and they are overdue to get broken up or something but at least I have been able to get issues resolved a couple times, after going through great pain on the phone, by coming to this store where they have actual sentient beings present who you can talk to and who also as a bonus understand English and can show you what the heck is going on. Last time I went was the most significant and I was helped by Dora who was WAY more helpful than 3 different people on the phone ( to say nothing of the stupid automated system), was WAY more possible to verify was not scamming me, and so far has not turned out to have lied about anything or set me up for reality to not match what was explained. Ask why I would put criteria like that in a review.
