Local yarn store with a wide variety of high end yarns along with some locally dyed yarns. Owner is very responsive to requests. I had emailed her for a special needle and she put it aside for me. She printed up a pattern for me from Ravalry. It is 45 minutes away from me...I just wish it was closer.

I was at a conference and took a couple of moments to stop into the Common Thread - and I loved it! They carry a range of yarns (Noro, Berroco, etc) as well as local yarns. The samples in the shop are inspiring .. They also have a range of bags and notions. The owner was lvoely and spent time talking to me about the different yarns and what they could be used for! Loved it and hope to pop in again when I'm in town.

Super cute and welcoming space. The woman working (maybe the owner? I’m sorry I didn’t ask) was so knowledgeable and proud to talk about the beautiful yarns and tools they carried. I often find local yarn stores can be a bit pushy on the sales while the staff hover around you, but she was happy to let me wander and answer my questions as I had them. I loved how excited they were of what the carried and if I lived locally I’m sure this would be a place I’d visit for my crochet needs often. Thank you for the lovely visit.
