Imagine a place in Palm Desert where superheroes chill, anime characters host meet-and-greets, and T-shirts cooler than your fridge's insides. That's Comics and Anime. This store is like if your favorite comic book exploded and the pieces landed perfectly on shelves. The owners? Legends. They treat you like you're the long-lost ruler of Asgard. Brought my kiddos and they went nuts—found rockstar gear that made them look like mini Mick Jaggers, vintage comics that smell like history, and anime merch that's fresher than a new episode. Even snagged Hello Kitty swag for the toddler, who's now the cutest fan in the galaxy. This place doesn't just sell stuff; it sells experiences wrapped in awesome sauce. Miss out, and it's like skipping pizza at a birthday party. Who does that?

Overpriced and very few selections, buys most of their toys from the Ross across the street. Very disappointed from someone who’s shopped there frequently. Selling toys that are 4.99 for 15-50 dollars. Would’ve been better off with another cheap end clothing store.

Absolute INSANE prices for comics. $200 for the 2nd app of Carnage (raw), when a 9.8 slab can be had for $75. Same with Venom Lethal Protector at $199 and slabbed 9.8s are half as much. There was a 9.8 New Mutants #98 (facsimile edition) listed at $300 (or $200, couldn't see price tags on some books, either one is crazy).

If you're a comic book fan and in the mall, stop by since it's a nice store, but don't expect to buy anything

If you want a Funko Pop stuff, this is your go-to place. Hundreds and hundreds of them. Stacks snd shelves all over.

If you want comics, this is *not* your go-to place. They had scattered shelves all over the store with comics, new and old, slabbed and raw. But any sort of quality control was sorely lacking.

Also, kids. I don’t have an issue with kids running around however when I’m trying to seriously work on my hobby the last thing I want is kids all over, let alone them (and others) pawing through everything. Yes it’s a large store in a mall so that’s fine in general, just not my thing.

They really should change the name to Pops and a Few Comics. That’d be more appropriate. It’s not a bad place by any means. It’s just definitely not comic book-focused. And I am.

Great store with large selection of comics and funko pops.
Staff is also very friendly and willing to help answer any questions you may have.
There aren't many stores like this around the desert so it really is a pleasure to visit whenever I'm at the mall.
