I went in the store to browse, and had my two boys with me. My well behaved 5 year old and 2 year old who I was holding on my hip were looking in the kid area and the owner ran over and told me the toys were for “looking” only. I told the kids “let’s go guys” … and we left as it was clear by the owners actions that she was worried about my well behaved kid and the way she approached me and spoke to me about it was abrupt and quite rude honestly. That’s not the worst part though … my husband walked into clutter after we left looking for us, and the owner stood 2 feet from his face and with other customers in there, LIED to him about how I acted and what happened. She made it seem like my kids were running around the store grabbing things which was NOT TRUE. He said it was uncomfortable and weird. This is not the first unpleasant time we have had with the owner and we decided as locals we will never step foot in that store again. We have heard from a lot of the community that the owner is grumpy and mean, and now we have our own first hand experience of why this is true. Not a family store and not a store that children are welcomed in. Such a shame.

We have purchased the most perfect kitchen table and chairs there! It is exactly what we needed... I love the way things are presented and displayed. And it is always very clean! Pat does a beautiful job!
