Brought my son, 5, to play at the Pokemon junior club. I was worried he’d be with older kids and wouldn’t be included since he’s a beginner, but one of the staff members there walked him through everything and was so kind and helpful! I was so impressed with how generous and inclusive everyone was. Will definitely be going back - even if I was one of only two moms there! 😆

One of my favorite places to visit in Chicago. Much of my collection is from here and I’m never disappointed in the new options available every time I visit. I admit I use to go weekly but I’ve settled down and decide to visit every few months.. it feels like Christmas every time. I recently organized a bit and added space for I’d say at-least 4 new gifts to myself. I mean it’s been months. 😝😇

Dice Dojo is Chicago's go-to board game shop. From weekly Open Board Game Wednesday nights to weekly card game events on weekends, there's always something going on here. The wonderful folks behind the counter always have something to recommend when it comes to board games... and Magic: the Gathering. They also have a plethora of tabletop things like miniature, paint, and handbooks for most any system you've heard of. Overall chill and relaxed environment. Dice Dojo remains my weekly haunt as long as they stay open.

Such a cute board game place!! They have lots of events and a HUGE selection of games. The owner is really nice, works there and has tried almost event game. Go in and they'll help you find the right game for any occasion. They also have an area on the side where they have a huge board game wall to play from.

Great place to play board games!

They currently have an open game night on Wednesdays which is a lot of fun. Plenty of people bring their own games, but they also have a ton of excellent games both new and old on the wall to borrow. Friendly to groups or individuals.

The board game selection is good and the prices are reasonable. Also have a decent selection of painting supplies.

There are several bike racks out front and it's a few blocks from the red line.

Would definitely recommend for board games and it looks like they also have a lot of Magic and minis (in the basement).

Literally just went in 5 minutes ago (for the first time ever) to pick up a game I ordered online. The staff was extremely friendly and the process from start to finish was effortless. Plus they had the game I was looking for in stock and I haven't been able to find it until now except on Amazon. But, support your FLGS first, right?! It's spacious and welcoming and the brief chance I had to peep their selection was impressive. It reminds me so much of my favorite gaming store back home, and I haven't had that fuzzy feeling since moving to Chicago 9 years ago. I honestly feel ridiculous not finding this place WAY sooner. I cannot wait to go back and shop or play a game when I've got more time!

I was pleasantly surprised by this game store. I go to game stores every time I travel, and usually it’s a “game store” that’s a few folding tables, Pokémon cards, and the top ten most popular game. This store actually had a huge inventory of games, some I had never seen before. Definitely worth popping in for a visit.
