I have shopped in a lot of high-end stores recently, and to say the customer service has dropped is an understatement except at Cartier. Cole is beyond helpful and will do anything to get you what you want. He is not pushy AT ALL and makes sure you really love your purchase. He is also amazing at recommending gifts!

I visited the Cartier store to see if the rings I was gifted were authentic, as I had read online that Cartier stores sometimes assess jewelry. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, and the employee politely asked how he could assist. I explained my situation and asked if he could verify whether the rings were real Cartier pieces. His immediate response was a firm “no.” When I asked if he could suggest where to go for verification, he unexpectedly held out his hand, so I assumed he wanted to examine the rings.

He took them, looked at them silently, and handed them back with a serious expression. There was a moment of awkward silence, where he just stared blankly, like the lights inside his head turned off, and I had to awkwardly prompt him, asking, “So… is that a no?” It felt like all communication suddenly broke down. He finally shook his head, still without saying anything.

What made this even more confusing was that he had already said he couldn’t help—so why did he take my rings and inspect them if he wasn’t going to provide any information? The whole interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and strange. It would have been much more helpful if he had just clearly explained that he couldn’t assist and didn’t know where to direct me. The poor communication and uncomfortable silence made me feel unwelcome and even a bit crazy for asking. Terrible customer service that turned what should have been a simple question into a bizarre, unsettling experience.

At the time of buying the ring, I was not sure of the correct size, the seller convinced me that within a month I can exchange the ring or return it without any problems, a couple of weeks later the moment came when I gave this ring to my beloved girlfriend, it turned out that it was too big, we went together to exchange it, but we were met with a refusal, arguing with "scratches" the employee made such a conclusion by eye, which does not look serious. and everything would be fine, I would easily reduce the size at any jeweler, but the complexity of the ring design (these are three rings wrapped together) does not allow this to be done. it turns out that the money was thrown down the drain, and this ring costs much more than in other jewelry stores. I am extremely disappointed with the service, the association with this brand, in any conversation, from this day on, will only cause me rejection. I will try to make every effort to warn all potential buyers about how they can be treated in this place.

I have a Cartier Tank watch for over 20 years. Every couple of years it has to be serviced in Texas. In the "good old days" they called me with a detailed estimate of the service within a week after dropping off the watch. I also received the watch back in about three weeks.
The service has deteriorated steadily over the years, and this last experience was terrible.
I have not heard back from them for three weks after dropping off the watch. After several phone calls and conversations with the manager I got an estimate of $ 750. No details, no written explanation. I asked them to just send the watch back to me without servicing it. It took them an additional two weeks to get it back to me.
This is a terrible store with no service, no accountability. In general; DON'T buy a Cartier watch as over time you have to pay the purchase price multiple times over, and suffer terrible service.
I bought a copy watch for $ 250, and other than true Cartier experts nobody can tell the difference.
