As a dedicated Pokémon collector, I was extremely disappointed with the outrageous upcharges on Pokémon products at this establishment. The prices are far beyond reasonable market value, making it difficult for true collectors to enjoy the hobby. I’ve already advised my fellow collectors to steer clear, as there are far better options elsewhere. If you're looking for fair pricing, this is not the place to go.

Cardboard Legends is the best card and memorabilia store around. Great staff, fair pricing and great selection are the hallmarks of this store. Mike, the owner, is probably the most honest guy you will meet in this business. And that’s why I have been shopping at Caedboard Lefends for more than 30 years. Highly recommended!

Got this from the facebook page, honestly I’ve been very frustrated with my beloved childhood lgs. I’ve been coming here since I was 7 years old. I Used to bike here every Saturday for yugioh tournaments for years. I still love collecting, and can afford to buy whatever I want as an adult now, but the prices on pokemon tcg products are atrocious. They say the costs are high from distribution but there’s no price transparency on their margins, especially after seeing what happened during covid. I’m truly saddened to say the place I loved has become something I don’t recognize anymore.

People don’t understand supply & demand. If people don’t like the cost of the items, then they can find a place that is suitable for their price instead of bashing the store.
This place keeps up to the current fair market value of items. I have my own shop and understand why price changes occur due to short supply and high demand of items.

This place is horribly overpriced. What I mean by that is that it is way over even tcg and / or other market values. Surging Sparks Booster box is at 359.99 almost 100 dollars over market, and that's just the tip of the ice berg. I understand there will be a slight upcharge because it is a business, but this is excessive. They also like to reply to these stuff and are toxic about it even though they know it's true. These guys also seem too pushy they really push you to buy something when you're just looking. Horrible place never go.

I can’t express how frustrated and disappointed I am with this place. The way they price-gouge Pokémon products is absolutely ridiculous—it feels like they’re taking advantage of collectors rather than supporting the community. It’s beyond unfair, and I refuse to give them another dollar. If you care about fair prices and honest business, stay far away.

Me and my buddy’s came to check this place out the other day - and Walking into this place as a Pokémon collector felt like stepping into a Team Rocket hideout—except instead of stealing your Pokémon, they’re robbing your wallet with absurd markups. The prices are so inflated you'd think they were trying to evolve a Magikarp with pure greed. It’s insulting to real collectors, and I’ve already spread the word to stay far, far away. If you value your money, your collection, and your sanity—do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
