Beautiful campground! We stayed here with some friends and were all impressed. It is the cleanest campground I’ve ever stayed in. The landscaping is perfectly tended to. Just the right amount of sun and shade. Lovely store with anything you need including Montana gifts. Definitely coming back.

We had a delightful stay . We stayed in the rv park for 11 nights , and then switched to a cabin when our rv needed a repair . Everything is well kept and very clean . Highly recommend! Wendy & her husband provide safety , cleanliness and much to enjoy . Make sure you grab a homemade treat or ten from the store ! Great selection on shirts and gifts to boot . Great deli sandwiches. Feeding the fish is so much fun for all ages of you are a guest. Perfection inside Simplicity

Worst experience. Our family was traveling from Montana to Idaho and needed to stop somewhere safe to sleep/camp. It was after midnight. There were a bunch of tent sites available, we called the Sula camp host and left a voicemail letting them know of our intentions and identified the vehicle we were in. The online Camp Sula website was not working either. There were signs up by the camp store that indicated if we parked in the parking lot we could be towed. So we opted to park far away from everyone at an empty tent site. Went to sleep with the family. At approximately 8 am individual aggressively started pounding on our truck windows waking us up. Presumably the camp host, he did not identify himself, he was armed and angry. I tried shake his hand and introduce myself but he declined. It was hostile. He scolded me that we were loud and inconsiderate and should have just slept on the side of the road. He asked what our plan was and I said we wanted to stay here and pay. He asked for $40 and asked debit , credit or cash? I said debit and he said cash only. He took $40 and walked off not giving us any instructions, expectation or receipt for the $40. We went back to sleep. We woke up and messaged camp host 11:50 am for receipt $40 and to touch base. There were bathrooms there that had keypads on them we were not provided access to, and to inform him of his mis information of our presence and behavior there. The surrounding neighbors when asked had not been bothered early morning when we arrived. Camp host no response. Immediately after messaging the camp host, the camp host text an RV camper named “Bill” who was a couple sites down. They informed “Bill” to tell us that we needed to leave because the site we were in had been rented. “Bill “ had text messages for the host stating we’re trespassing and we needed leave. Still don’t understand why we’re charged $40 and then asked to leave upon only being there a couple hours. It was awkward and unbelievably un welcoming experience, I would have paid $40 not to have that experience. Horrible.

Reply to business response.

You are incorrect. I wouldn’t take the time to write something like this if our family was treated fairly and respectfully. Just calling us a liar doesn’t make us a liar, it’s you just making excuses trying to justify your behavior, that’s victim blaming, it’s foul. You’re not at a loss for anything , we are out $40 for just parking the car there with the family for less than 10 hours, no amenities offered, or power used. Just parked. We have the right to leave a google review, shortly after posting that you text us and asserted you would post our text conversations, we asked that you please do so. You asserted in text that it’s “people like us that ruin it for everyone……” It is people like us that will not be harassed and treated like that. Your behavior in the morning pounding on our trucks window waking up a startling everyone was absurd, you could have kindly asked us to leave, but you took money and walked away. Hospitality it was not, you are on notice not to contact us again, please refrain from sending harassing texts. God bless.

Great little campground on the creek. We camped here in a 20 ft camper with full hook up and a nice fire pit in late Sept. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest we've found. The little store has a variety of snacks and drinks, and you can fill up with gas if needed.

Great location and beautiful mountains. Wendy has everything you need in the store, while her husband has the grounds and bathrooms and cabins immaculate. Peaceful place for a night, week, or longer because the fools stay with each other 3' away in the upper bitterroot valley. And you have your choice for fly fishing on the east fork of the bitterroot river because the others think all the trout stay further north in the crowded river. Great place for a family reunion year after year of you enjoy the beautiful mountains and the real Montana sky is here, with no city lights. A Gem, don't ruin it for me.

We needed to temporarily relocate our little camper home for a few weeks last fall, and we ended up staying at Camp Sula during that time. Though the length of our stay was uncertain and kept getting pushed out longer, the owners were nonetheless very accommodating and were kind enough to work around our unknown schedule. They were more than happy to allow our 3 dogs to come to the camp, as well. In addition to all of that, one of the owners was in the midst of a medical emergency during that time, but she continued to be communicative and professional throughout our stay, never skipping a beat. Above and beyond, I’d say. Their Rice Krispies treats are pretty tasty, too.

We found and booked this campground through Hipcamp. The host’s communications were excellent. Our site was perfect for our camper van. The bathroom facilities were very clean and in very good condition. The hot water and water pressure were the best we’ve had on our journey. We would definitely recommend this campground to others.

My wife and I discovered Camp Sula while RVing in Idaho and Montana. We have been staying here now for 3 years twice a year and it is our favorite RV Park. The RV Park grounds are kept clean with no trash around and the restrooms are very clean. The owners husband is out every morning keeping things in good order. There is plenty to do around Sula. Fly fishing, sightseeing and Darby is only a few short miles away. We will continue to come to Camp Sula.

My wife and stay at Camp Sula several times a year. We have had nothing but a pleasant experience. The RV Park is clean and and the owners go out of their way to keep it that way. The restrooms are immaculate and if necessary you could eat off the floor. No trash laying about and sites are raked several times per week. Lots to see and do around Sula. Fly fishing, sightseeing and small towns close by. We will continue to visit Camp Sula.
