Orders out to go and drive away. Big mistake. Order a chicken salad sandwich and see attached picture. For $14 I would expect it to have actually enough chicken salad to cover the whole piece of bread. Really disappointed. It was basically just bread and lettuce could not really task the chicken salad. My husbands sandwich was better at least

My husband and I came here. Yes, line is long but it’s worth the wait. Also , it’s every Boudin that has a line not complaining because you know when you’re at a good place to eat. My husband is obsessed with their Cobb Salad. I love their seasonal turkey cranberry sandwiches. Their sourdough bread is amazing. I love how you can mix and match. Staff were amazing . They have outside sitting as well. Would definitely be back.

It’s been years since we last had a sourdough sandwich at Boudin. Spouse had a clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl and I ordered a North Beach melt. (Mortadella, Columbus salami, pepperoni, applewood smoked ham, provolone, roasted bell peppers, garlic aioli, pesto mayo, on a warm Dutch crunch roll.)
With salad on the side.
The sourdough bread is as good as it was 13 years ago.
We bought a can of clam chowder too.

They certainly made a good effort but the food wasn't quite up to par. The southwest veggie burrito was ok and was tiny! I've had better frozen pizza as well compared to theirs. Turkey sandwich was average but the chowder is always consistently good. Service was excellent and friendly. I like the self service fountain drinks which had a good variety. Place was crowded but the tables were cleaned promptly. Nice outdoor covered patio with heaters

Really sad about my to go order. I picked up lunch for my hardworking guys. Paid over 25 bucks sandwich for a big sourdough roll with less than 3 oz a chicken It’s sad to pay more and more and get less. Come on a whole roasted chicken roasted is 12 bucks

I ordered a French dip sandwich.
I immediately took it up to the counter the lady looked at it and said she didn't like the looks of it. It was dry slabs of meat and grizzle rubbery chunks attached horrible.

I asked if she was the cook she said no, then asked me what else I wanted.
I went to the register and from the menu said the tuna salad sandwich.

I sat down and waited.
I scraped the tuna off the bread.
I eventually used it to dip in my clam chowder that I ordered after a while because the tuna didn't taste fresh at all.
These people that work there need to seriously taste their food before they serve it
None of this meal was good costing me over $27.00
I could have ate at chic filet or subway and been better off.
But the name sounded enchanting Boudin SF
I grew up eating everything in San Francisco!!!
Delicious Clam Chowder on the Wharf

I told the manager about the dip sandwich she said she didn't see it dam I wished I would have showed it to her and not the lady by the cook station.

She asked me about the tuna salad sandwich
I told her it was okay I didn't want to embarrass her
It just looked like it was all smashed up and a few celery chunks in there or green onions who knows
The tomato on top looked FRESHER than the tuna
I went up and bought some chowder it wasn't good either
WTH

I asked the kid who worked there ( he was cleaning the floor by my table/)
I asked him if it was homemade and did it come from SF like the bread?
He said I think so I think it comes to us in a can
Well it tasted terrible.
It wasn't homemade and the little clams were barely any flavor at all and they added potatoes of their own chopped up and boiled

The manager take off the difference of the dip sandwich and the soup so that was good.
But there was nothing special about this place.
I would rather eat at Olive garden where everything really is fresh and delicious
Anywhere where you get your money worth and the food is good the first time around
I wouldn't recommend Boudin to anyone
It's a shame because I eat out a lot
I have had excellent eating experiences everywhere
But not here

Everytime we can make it, we come here. We had our favorite sandwich with their house salad. It was perfect before we headed to our friend in Sacramento.

We love going to Boudin for the crab and corn soup in the round sour dough bread and turkey cranberry sandwich. And took away a free sour dough bread, and cookies and other pastries.

Boudin is a special place to stop and eat. We stop here wherever we go for a drive or to all the wonderful outlets around. We usually share a turkey cranberry sandwich. This time had it on a sourdough bread. It tasted so good! Our friend their squash soup. It was picture perfect. Always fresh good food. Try it and your going to like it too!
