Chuck and the team at Bill's Ace Hardware in Martinez are top-notch! I had a dead car remote battery and stopped by for help. Not only did they have a replacement battery at a great price, but they even installed it for me at no extra charge. Their customer service is outstanding, and the prices are always fair. First time here, not nearly as big as home Depot but a lot less busy. Staff was very friendly and I was immediately able to find what I was looking for! The store has a very compact layout but it was easy to find what I was looking for.

The Customer Service here is capitalized because this store values their customers! I always feel welcome and the employees actually WANT to help you!
I've been to the Aces in walnut creek pleasant hill and I would rather drive further for better service. Both of those stores acted like they did not want me there at all.
I appreciate this store's employees for maintaining a positive interaction with customers over the past several years!

As long as I live in this area, I will continue to Go out of my way support this store!

Eric helped me find the right finely-threaded m3 screws and a few tools to custom mount a CPU cooler and get my computer running smoother than ever! Like the whole store, the hardware aisle(nuts and bolts) is comprehensive, but the people make it the place to go.

I was greeted at the door by a friendly employee. I was offered assistance by another employee. I was greeted by another employee and finally treated well by the employee at the register. They had what I wanted in a well-organized plumbing department. Also check prices on other items that I will be needing and to my surprise they were lower-priced then Home Depot or Lowe's for what I was looking for. Definitely recommend them
