“We were looking for a place to get tea and we came across this cute family owned store! They have endless amounts of teas to chose from! They have several different yarns and yarn tools as well as a whole area for yarning in the back! If you’re a tea or yarn lover, you will definitely love this store! The guy also wrapped our gifts in a very nice fashion. We will definitely be visiting again!”

A store that combines my two favorite things on the planet, tea and yarn. This store is literally my own personal paradise on earth.

First I want to talk about the tea. We are tea fanatics! In the cooler months we will down several cups of warm tea a day, and in the summer we drink it over ice throughout the day with warm cozy cups in the morning and evening. So, we drink a lot, we know a lot, and we are super picky and spoiled so not just any ol’ cup o’ tea will do. This place knocks the tea shop part out of the park! You have a huge assortment of bagged tea and the holy grail of loose leaf tea wall. If you miss Tevana (but not their insane prices) you’re gonna LOVE this place! The quality of tea is as good (or better) but the prices are so reasonable that you won’t have to take out a loan to drink delicious and exotic tea . They have it all, no matter what you like to sip, they have you covered. If you’re super obsessed with tea like me, or even if you just want to keep some on hand for dinner party desserts or when you’re not feeling well, you should definitely stop in. I’m sipping on a new orange spice as I type this that is so smooth and mild and tingles all my senses! YUM!

Now the yarn! I included pictures of my two finds for today. My husband picked the blue blend so I can knit him a hat and scarf for this winter. It’s gorgeous and soft and so unique. That super delicious alpaca yarn I picked up for myself. I mean, just look at it. I have about 40 scarves but I NEED one made from this dreamy textile! I’m not sure if the picture does it justice but just imagine how angel wing feathers feel, how an apple pie baking smells, and how a baby laughing sounds...... that’s this yarn! I’m in love.

The shop owners were both in and they were so delightful. We chatted and laughed and it was a wonderful experience. She’s been doing this for 20 years, I guess that says more than I ever could.

Adorable tea shop. Lots of loose leaf selections and a fair selection of tea ballls and spoons. The yarn selection is vast for knitters and crochet fans alike! Lots of charm in this hidden gem of a store!
