CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC IN 2022!! I am extremely disappointed in this place, I was so excited to visit only to get to the gates and see a small sign that said closed to the public. Couldn't figure out why as the site was still up and showing the tasting and gift shop pics. But after a long Google search I found the closed 3 years ago. Barton you need to change your website and let people know and take down those pictures.

I have delivered here often. Most times they get you in and out when you have a delivery to make. The office employees are nice and helpful. The only problem that I have, is when you go to scale in or out and there is a truck blocking the weight window, you either have to get out or kinda wait around for them to notice your on the scale. Would it be too much for a green light to be added with a push button either above the window or on the right side of the scale, that can flash with a push button, to indicate you are OK to pull off the scale? It was really bad today with a truck in the way and raining. Hate to see the guy have to come out the little building in the rain, just to wave me on. Come on y'all, a few dollars for a light and a simple push button that illuminates a light bulb...

Does not offer tour. Dont waste your time. We were in Bardstown in June of 2025. We tried to visit and only saw a small "no public" sign. We were very disappointed.

It has been easy to obtain and taste 5 of Bardstown 1792 bourbon to my collection except the High Rye and Port Finish. If those two became available to buy and taste this will definitely change my rating because I truly enjoy their bourbons.

I drink their vodka alot. It's not too bad, but I've been trying to contact them... lately there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with their Batchelor crystal palace that come in plastic bottles lately. I don't know what changed but it's awful. I've asked a few people what they think and they say the same thing... it smells and tastes disgusting. Although the glass bottles are fine. I am not leaving this review to discourage anyone from buying the product but to let the distillery know that something is not right...and it's only been the last like 2 months.

Here on base here at Ft. Bragg is a Barton
product called "Ten High". Which is advertised as a
Sour Mash Bourbon Whiskey (80 Proof).
This product absolutely SUCKS!! I mean dude c'mon!!
What is this some run off that you guys saw a chance
to sell as a product? Why ruin your name? A decent
bourbon isn't very expensive to obtain so why make
a bottom of the barrel product to simply avoid
having to dispose of your run-off? You could
easily win bets with your friends that you could
do 20 shots and just let your secret be that you
are drinking Ten High..because this product is
no more than brown Kool-Aid with a splash of
alcohol. It doesn't even smell full bodied as if
it came out of a barrel. What happened to the
2-4 year minimum barrel fermentation?
I would bet they added caramel color to this
product to make it appear it has been in
a warehouse sitting on a shelf for 2/4 years.
Disgrace!!! Don't you guys EVER call this
Bourbon Whiskey!! If grandma could lift her
broom she'd run you guys out of Kentucky!
