Was so excited to go to Barefoot Boutique, and was almost immediately uncomfortable when entering. The store is beautifully set up. But the thrill ends there. The environment is not welcoming. The music was too loud. The owner kept watching us, and was very rude.

I loved a blue sweater that was nearly $80, but even with 20% off. Could not even fathom spending money here after how uncomfortable the owner made me feel. The clothing was nothing special. I’ve seen the blue and white striped button up a dozen times in other places trying to emulate coastal clothing. It’s very Hampton chic. There were so many items I was interested in. But customer experience will 100% determine how I respond with my wallet. Will never go back.

I went in to this store, and the owner was so rude. She followed my daughter around while she was looking at things. She accused her of getting a tank top dirty which she didn’t. I was holding an $80 sweater that I was going to purchase and that was only the beginning of my shopping. I walked out because of how rude she was and told her that, and she told me I was rude. Clearly, she shouldn’t be in customer service. One star is generous. I wish zero stars was an option.

I have lived in the area for three years now. I’m pretty sure that everything in the store is the same stuff that’s been there in that time.
I continue to go in there, hoping to find something different and always disappointed that it’s the same stuff.
I bought a linen top there recently and asked the two girls behind the counter, they were all of 20, if I could return the top if I decided I didn’t like it and they both told me that I had 10 days.
I had my husband take in the return because I was going to be out of town for a couple days. When I got home, he showed me the receipt and told me that I only have a credit. Don’t exist there only exchanges.
I went in there today and talked with a woman that wouldn’t identify herself and all she did was argue with me even though I was buying something with that credit. I asked her if she understood where I was coming from and she said, well, you misunderstood.
Needless to say, I will not return to shop there again. And you better bet that I will spread that information with all of my friends in the area.

This boutique is so beautifully set up with the cutest clothes. There is an amazing selection of the best soaps, and the location is perfect and very well. I have to say that the costumer service has always been great and welcoming after many years of my shopping here.

No strollers permitted. Walked in early on a quiet weekday morning. The clothing was beautiful and we couldn’t wait to shop! However, we were subtly asked to leave because our very small baby was with us in a stroller. My wife was greeted with “I’m not sure if you’re local here, but we are starting a stroller free policy”. We left immediately, however I think it’s important for families to know that your child must remain in your arms if you plan to try and shop here.

For the girlies!! The store selection is so cute & the girls working helped me pick out an outfit for a night out. It felt like hanging out with friends. 10/10 recommend & will definitely continue being my go to

I've been there 2 times 6 months apart. The WORST customer service ever. The young girl "working" there sat at the front on her phone and didn't even greet me, get up to assist or offer a fitting room. The 2nd time I actually made a point to get in front of her said say hello. SHE STILL DIDN'T LOOK UP OR GREET ME!!! Another customer in the shop had the exact same concern. She also had questions about other sizes and styles. She said she was completely ignored as well. She was mad and frustrated. Get it together.

I went into the shop and immediately started to get stared at. I went to one of the tables and the second I picked up a tank top, the owner came and kept staring me down and dusting everything I touched. I was also accused of dirtying a tank top, that was like that when I walked in. I didn't get a chance to move past the front of the store. I was going to buy a $38 tank top but got turned off by how rude the owner was being to me and my family. She was calling me rude and wasn't treating us with respect. Obviously this woman had no sense of how to work in costumer service.
