The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!
After Crown & Crumpet (A tea salon that used to be on the floor under BTSSB) closed I haven't gone to Baby in quite some time.

However, I went to Baby with the intent of purchasing a headdress, and the personnel was super welcoming! They were extremely helpful and did a super awesome job introducing the fashion to my friend!

I would definitely come back in the future per usual, but not often. Nice clothes
are expensive! ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°｡

Overall--the sales reps here are rude.
I purchased a bunch of items including multiple socks. 30 minutes later when I tried a pair on, they tore. I came back to the store and the sales rep said that it was due to "human error" that they got a run.

I have multiple pairs of Baby socks and tights and have not had this issue before. I'm not sure why they felt it was necessary to say it was my fault

Only reason why I'm not giving 1 star is because they did give a refund, even though this was "an exception for them."

I have visited Baby SF several times in person and bought online more times than I’d like to admit in the past several years. Item quality is always on point and customer service is always fantastic both in person and online !

The staff don’t hover and allow you to explore on your own after greeting you and asking if there’s something you are looking for in particular; and every time I’ve been in they have been quick to help with taking items out of cases to view closer, getting a fitting room, finding shoe sizes, etc when asked. They have also been friendly and happy to chat about the fashion— especially about baby & aatp !

Online customer service is great too, with prompt responses to questions and careful packaging. Once I even went on a bit of an online shopping spree, and the box they packed the items in was packed quite tightly. They were kind enough to leave a note on the box letting me know to be careful to not cut the items when opening because it was packed so tightly! I was very careful with my scissors and the clothes were pristine— if a little wrinkled— when opened.

Needless to say I am a btssb Stan but even so, I do think their quality and customer service is some of the best out there for EGL fashion. Their beautiful designs and wonderful service keep me coming back !! Can’t wait til my next trip to San Fran to visit them again~

I just wanted to give a shout-out and public review to Claire at Baby the Stars Shine Bright San Francisco for being an enormous help, and for representing the best in customer service for BABY SF.
I’m a Canadian staying in California for only a week and wanted to take advantage of the proximity to order from BABY. Claire was very prompt and courteous in answering my emails, and let me know about the ordering process and shipping times. She took care to ship out my order as soon as possible at the beginning of the week and it was delivered to my resort perfectly and safely by Thursday morning!

Thank you Claire and BABY SF! I would highly recommend ordering from them and commend their customer service.

Baby has beautiful clothing but you’re better off ordering online from the US location or direct from Japan instead of coming to the store. The staff don’t greet customers and talk among themselves when customers are shopping. It’s a very unwelcoming feeling. Angelic Pretty has much nicer staff and it’s a pleasure visiting them.

I have only ordered online but it was a great experience. I got the items within 2 days (I live in a nearby state) and they refunded me part of the shipping cost.
I bought a happy pack which contained a jumperskirt, cutsew, and matching headbow. They arrived in lovely packaging with a sticker, too.

Actually getting in was a bit strange because an appointment and vaccine card are required (perfectly understandable in these times! As long as you make an appointment on their website and have your vaccine cards + mask you'll be fine!). The people working there were so nice and helped me find exactly what I needed. As a plus size lolita it's a bit hard to find the right dresses for me, but the girl working there was amazing and found one in my measurements! So kind and a wonderful experience!

Today is now the second time I have made the trip all the way from Canada only to discover the store is CLOSED via a paper sign taped to the door. You need to post your up to date hours on your store website. I love baby dearly but I am so very disappointed right now.
