Great gaming store with very friendly and helpful staff. The new store (they moved to this location in January 2025) is almost double the size of the old store. They have breakout rooms now so you can have people playing different games in separate areas. Good amount of parking but you can only turn right out of the parking lot onto Miramar so makes it little harder to get back to the 15.

I really like the new location—it’s bigger, has a great atmosphere, and the air conditioning is a nice bonus. The separate rooms for different activities are a great idea. But honestly, my experience with the staff, especially Ruben(at least that’s what I think his name is; it’s the bigger gentleman), hasn’t been great. It feels like they only care about certain games and aren’t really interested in building new gaming communities.

They also don’t put much effort into connecting with local groups that play the games they sell. Instead, they mostly post in their private Discord and Facebook page, which makes it tough for new players to get involved or even know what’s going on. Just recently, they announced they’re ending a rewards program—but most of us didn’t even know one existed. That kind of lack of communication is a big part of the problem.

One easy fix would be to post in local groups that already exist for these games. For example, I get most of my Lorcana updates from the San Diego Lorcana Facebook group. If the store shared events or info there—even just occasionally—it would go a long way in helping newer players feel welcome and included.

Because of everything above, I don’t feel like they’ll ever change, and it’s a big reason why I choose to drive 20+ minutes to support other stores instead.

That said, I know they just moved, and I get that it takes time to settle in. I plan on stopping by again in a couple of months and keeping an eye on how they handle things in the meantime.(by looking at their discord and Facebook post and seeing how they market their events) Hopefully, they’ll start making better use of their space and actually work on building a stronger, more inclusive community.

I plan on updating my review once I see some improvements. This store is in my hometown and I want to see it succeed. I hope they take my criticism seriously and make some changes.

P.S. If you’re into D&D, Warhammer, Magic: The Gathering, or Star Wars Unlimited, this store is probably great for you. But if you’re looking for a shop that supports a wider range of games and players, there are other places doing a much better job.

TLDR- one employee is super rude every-time , poor marketing of events, they doesn’t support games that they sell and overall communications issues.

New location is nice, great stock, however there is a lack of Warlord Games' Pike and Shotte in 28mm scale aside from starter sets.

The new place has more space, and actually has breakout areas for interested parties. Glad to see the move that happened between December 2024-January 2025 went well, and I hope to continue watching the community here grow.

Massive tabletop gaming store, clean with lots of gaming space and supplies! Great parking too

Called the place asking about SWU product. Told they had singles and booster packs. Did the drive and on arrival was told due to their restocking of Warhammer their counter is closed... so I couldn't buy anything. Very disappointed in lack of customer service when there was no one else in the store than just me.

Every single person Who works at Ease cares about their job and it makes all the difference. The staff are happy to help anyone learn a new hobby or expand on one they already have. Clean and well organized with tons of tables to play. Not to mention the community built around the store is a great way to meet people and hang out! One of the best gaming stores in the country!

Went in looking for solo board game. Based off my likes employee recommended Bargain Quest. I liked how this sounded and there is a solo play expansion. I've played it four times and it's my current favorite game. Recommend the store and the game.
