I spent over $40 at this store on 6/7/21. Today’s date is 6/10/21. My kids were so excited for their new toys. (Which side note: they don’t get to pick new toys often like other spoiled kids.) I purchased walkie talkies among many other things. Everything is extremely over priced!! But I figured this small store/ locally owned… this money would go to a good place. At least stay local that is. We get home and they are definitely even poorer quality than I originally thought before we opened the package. The rang from walkie talkie to walkie talkie was less than half that the packaging stated. As well as so must static you could barely understand the person anyway. No matter how close they are to each other. (May not be the stores fault. However I can’t be the first person to have this issue.) I go into the store this afternoon and the employee says she can’t help me. I said excuse me why is that!! I said I don’t want a return / I want an exchange. Well they only take returns that have not damaged/ unopened packaging. (Please tell me how I know that the merchandise that was sold to me didn’t work before I opened the package!?) In general this is terrible business practice and I would think twice before making a purchase here!!! Also make sure you don’t want or need the money back if you do make a purchase here. (I am posting this not as a cheap skate or a crack head that wants their money back after so many uses of this product. I am posting this as a principal!)
