Stopped by while visiting Los Angeles for a week, and was totally worth it. As an n-scale collector, they have a great selection of locomotives and cars, and even some rare stuff. Everyone working here was friendly, informative, and they allow you to test run models. Highly recommend.

Model railroaders’ heaven for sure! By far the widest variety of rolling stock and locomotives I’ve seen especially for ho scale although they seem to specialize in Athearn locomotives, as their parts supply is exclusively Athearn from what I have heard. I am new to model trains and Sebastian and Kevin were extremely helpful and guided me through exactly what i needed to get started. However, when I did buy my first locomotive, I was not informed that it was used. They have a system for distinguishing between new and used. Yellow tags are used, red tags are new. I was brand new to the hobby at the time so I had no clue this existed. Ultimately, the used locomotive I bought had excessively squeaky loud wheels and when I went back before the 30 day exchange policy expired, I was told they would NOT honor it even though I’d pay the difference for a new one! I was pretty angry but I’d still recommend visiting this shop, just please be aware of what you’re buying is used or new. The people here are helpful and friendly, the store is very clean and well organized, and the variety of stuff here is just incredible.

Really awesome store that I went almost two years in July of 2020! I bought two or three bachmmaan ez ho tracks for my set. I'll come here again and see what's interesting.

For the HO collector, this store is amazing!!! Everything you would want for any type of layout they have it here. Staff is friendly and asked several times if we needed any help.

The Best stocked train store for HO/N and other scales that is close to me. The Large scale trains can be found next door at Milepost. Arnie's carries all the name brands and their prices are on par with everyone else...some higher, some lower than others. Friendly staff, working layouts. Good selection of everything.
