This is the place to go for all of your model railroad needs. Craig knows his stuff and can help you with any issues and answer questions. Craig is customer focused plus he knows railroad history! Even if you are not into model railroads, it’s still worth a visit as the hobby shop/museum is in the old train station next to the railroad tracks with trains passing by. Also, there are several train displays and different lay outs.

This is a unique model railroad hobby shop located in a very historic building. There are a few layouts in the store with a strong presence of O scale equipment. Other scales are represented including some unique and hard to find items. There are many unique railroad museum items available for view, also. Stop by, spend a few bucks and help these guys restore and maintain a piece of history.

Great Place to visit. Mr. Craig is a awesome man to meet. I highly recommend this place. I had a old Marine corps engine from the 1950's he hand polished that dude and made it look brand new! My daughters loved it.

So glad me and the wife found this place. Our little boy loves trains and this place had scaled towns and trains that drive around alot of toys and we learned alot of history we had no idea about the area. The owner was very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Arkansas Traveler Hobbies is a rare gem. Situated in a historic depot along the old Mopac mainline through Bald Knob is a quaint little combination model railroad shop and rail museum. The owner doubles as both shopkeeper and a resident historian for the region. It's an interesting place to visit, even if you are not into model railroads.

As for what the shop carries for model trains, it's mainly O scale with some HO and other scales as a secondary focus. Since my scale of interest is O, it works great for me. Most of the merchandise is pre-owned, coming from estate sales and close-out inventories from other failed shops, with a few newly produced items scattered about. It's a long drive for me, but I try to get there 2-3 times a year.

ATH is a great place to watch trains, talk trains and buy trains - the latter being important to keep these guys going. I definitely recommend a visit.
