Lots of stuff in here and has many things to choose from. The employee seemed tired but ended up being very quick and helpful getting the product i wanted that was behind the glass display.

Very friendly, helpful! If your unable to find something in their store, they have a computer there with their list of products from their warehouse in the back. Very comfy environment for anime fans. Also! If you're looking for blind box figures and want a particular one they have them displayed and get to pick what you want 😀

Shady sales staff you would think that if you where handing out bags with your name on it you would care about your customers more then blatantly lying to thier faces will not be buying another figure from this company again

Blown away by the merch selection in the store! They have such a variety of genres. There's really someone for every anime fan. The staff is super knowledgeable and attentive and are great with new series recommendations to watch too!

Bought a couple figures from this place at Anime Midwest 2021. One figure came with a manufacturer error. Reached out to them and within 3 days they were apologetic and understanding and replaced my figure no problem. They even gave me a coupon for the next time. This is a hidden gem in Illinois and Chicagoland area. Not only was the owner super chill but the store itself is high quality. They display their products in glass display cases and shelves with clear labels and prices. And if they don’t the staff is highly enthusiastic and willing to help. Some other reviewers state they didn’t like how the staff hovered. Personally for me, I only had about one or two members come up and ask me if I needed anything from the shelves. I would only consider this to be great customer service. I also love that they clearly are anime lovers themselves. Some figures that are higher end I would say may be $20-30 over priced but if you take into consideration how most of these figures you have to pay for import shipping if you were to online shop, it basically evens out overall. For right in your face figure shopping with guaranteed authenticity (which is not typical in my opinion) it’s pretty awesome. I have been an anime figure collector for 5+ years living in Chicago and I can say whole heartedly I have never been to a anime shop quite like this in the city/suburbs. They absolutely outdo TooCool. Purple Plum will be seeing more of me in the future. I will never not take the 40 minute drive to get quality fair prices on figures with excellent service.
