Rare that a shopping experience gives a sense of child-like wonder, but Acorn does just that. Every nook hides something unexpected and delightful. High quality and striking range of items for every age, infant - early tween...heck, "grownups" beware, you're likely to find something that delights you, too. The experience of this space--the magic of stumbling across something you didn't realize was perfect for the special kid you had in mind--that's a pretty rare and remarkable feeling.

Acorn has the most unique toys for children. I started shopping here seven years ago when they had their shop on Atlantic, and continue to order for every holiday and birthday from their website. They wrap every individual gift with lovely tissue paper- so it also saves me time on wrapping!

Very beautiful toys, made from traditional materials (not plastic). Our children love the wool fairies and wood animals. Acorn brings a lot of small makers’s creations straight to our doorstep. Visiting with a child is a real treat!

Sorry to see the store signage touting its Brooklyn identity. Seems v insensitive (and arrogant) to the already existing tensions between local folks and "city" folks. Acorn, pls drop the elitist attitude that your signage promotes.
