Wonderful shop with a great selection and layout. I met the owner, he was a joy to speak with and share about pens. I highly recommend this shop for anyone in town or visiting, if you want to get into fountain pens, I will go ahead and say this is a great first stop with beginner to serious enthusiast options. Pricing on inks was exceptional and competitive.

My order was packed up so well, I included a pic, extra touches and attention to detail are alive, well, and part of B'z Paperie.

I love my new (and first Lamy Safari pen).

always wanted to try out a fountain pen for sketching, found this shop and they had a lot of cool ones to pick from. I decided on a Lamy Safari and the guy working there was so nice and helpful with any questions i had. im really thankful to have a local business like this for stationary. just another reason why i love living here.

What an amazing little shop! Really well curated selection of stationery and related supplies. My brother in law bought some gifts, and I could not resist some sea themed washi tapes. Even the paper bag the manager handed to me was decorated with such care. I wish more places like this existed.

Lots of cute stuff for gifts etc but even better, lots of high quality papers and pens to choose from. Love to see a nice stationery store in Ventura ! Shop is small but stuffed with stuff and the layout makes you feel comfortable just browsing around.

I absolutely adore this place! If you are an artist or writer this is one of the very few (if only) fine calligraphy supplies in the county. They have a plethora of high qualities goods, markers, pens, inks, and heavy duty sketchbooks. The prices equal out to what you would pay for them online. Not to mention they package it up so cutely! This is such a niche small business I hope it stays on main street for a while. The owner is very kind and so are his shop keepers!

I'd walked into this shop any number of times while visiting Ventura but my last time through was the first time I bought anything. Over the last couple of months, I've fallen down the fountain pen rabbit hole and figured I'd take my visit as the opportunity to pick one up. Although I just picked up a simple Lamy Safari and converter, the time taken to answer my questions was simply above and beyond. Being who I am, I'd lost sight of my birthday being next week and instead of letting someone else buy the pen for me, I bought it for myself. So, it was massively convenient that the shop took the time to send me away with a wonderfully packaged gift bag and paper that fit in perfectly on the table with my cake. I've already gone through my first ink cartridge and have loved every minute of writing with it. Thank you, Joseph and crew for a great experience and I can't wait to stop back by in the near future!

Lovely shop with lots of beautiful things to peruse. Knowledgeable and helpful. Purchased a refillable fountain pen for my husband and gifts for my niece and daughter’s friend. Sweet little spot to pickup something creative. They had great puzzles too.
