Without a doubt, hands down, the best card shop in the Los Angeles area. Been to many card shops in LA County, and it took one from Ventura County before I finally found a home. Mike and Chase are incredibly easy going and a joy to talk to, but most importantly, they genuinely care about giving their customers a memorable experience. I commute an hour round trip to get there, and every single time, I never regret it. They have my business, and deserve yours.

Best card shop around. Prices are always fair even with products that are extremely in-demand. They run tons of events for every popular trading card game which are easily viewable on their Discord channel. Their Discord has an excellent player community, as does the store itself.

Things might get a little pricey if you're buying and having items shipped(it's not their fault). You can ,in theory, buy booster boxes off Amazon for cheaper. That being said a hidden fortress can offer you something Amazon cannot. They can offer you peace of mind. You can trust the people here not to reseal packs and you can trust them not to price gouge. They offer great prices on everything but shipping is a little expensive (once again not their fault) so overall it's worth spending a few extra dollars and have that peace of mind.

This place been around for several years, and I’ve already heard great things. We recently heard they began hosting Pokemon on Sundays here. We use to take our son to Ventura every Friday to a different location (not affiliated) but it got a little tough doing that drive. We’re so happy hidden fortress began hosting on Sundays, the game is only a 5min drive from us now.
The turnout is great and there are many more kids that are around our sons age to play too.

My husband came to join Starwars tournament with his friends, the clerk that worked here ignored him and ring up people behind him. When he asked if they have a deck box for sale, they blantly told him no. However, when his friend who asked, the clerk say "I will look". My husband hasn't been at this card shop but the blantant rudeness and disrespectful is why I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Until shop owner teaches their worker to be respectful and not blantant ignore or being rude, this review will stay. Furthermore, clerk was playing shadowverse on his phone while working. Thank you.

EDIT: The owner came came to apologized to us personally. I'm grateful for the swift action. I will change it to 4 stars, However, i will leave it review as is here as reminder. Thank you very much owner.
