Be careful what you buy here. I bought a leather motorcycle jacket a few years back for $300, with no label in it, and recently when I was thinking of passing it on to someone new I Google image searched it. It sells for $140 new on Amazon. Exact same jacket (it has certain telltale features in the interior). I assume the owner was not aware, but I still feel really disappointed.

Sweetest owner and an amazing, helpful and cheery staff! So much to see and experience in this high desert gem of a vintage store. All the bright swirling colors and sparkles of the clothing , jewelry, shoes, coats and accessories are in abundance here. They just celebrated 12 years and that is really saying something for a small business, these days. Every time I visit I see new items and the store is consistently refreshed and neatly arranged.

This is such a desert staple! I'm just now catching up to congratulate Kime on her 12 years of such a lovely little shop. The shop birthday party was a blast and really great - everyone was so welcomed. The End has such an eclectic variety of clothes, jewlery, knick knacks, vintage - it's really a one stop shop. A must stop if visiting the desert.

The attitude of the girl behind the counter ruined our interest in browsing through what they had and my group felt so unwelcome we left. Was excited to spend some money here as it has been on my list of vintage shops to visit in JT for months but as someone who works in customer service I just have a hard time finding an excuse for such an attitude lol. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The face of your business matters. When someone comes in and is not greeted at all other than a sneer in their general direction, it influences everything about the experience for the customer. This is a lesson today’s employee could have benefited from. Three potential customers lost today. Unfortunate as we were so excited to come to The End on our annual visit to Joshua Tree.

Overpriced hippie trash & the rudest person I’ve met in retail. She shouted and lectured us because she was angry someone used the bathroom, not seeing a sign behind a bunch of hanging clothes that it wasn’t for public. She yelled at him through the door, and even though he apologized and said he didn’t see the sign, she continued ranting until we left the store.
Obviously we triggered her with our presence, because she glared at us when we said hi and entered. Maybe we weren’t the right clientele for her. We had rushed to get there because of good reviews & really wanting to buy a jacket. Oh well!
