I've been going to Boys of Summer for nearly 20 years now. Kevin is the owner, and a nicer guy you'll never meet. If you love comics and collectibles this is the place for you!

I would like to say that this shop has great deals on comics and is well decorated. The owner was very welcoming and accepting, however he doesn't seem to encourage sales and i felt generally lost. There are a lack of tables leaving boxes of comics just lying on the floor. I get the owners "just business " point of view. Though this place is good for bargain bin comics and snacks I don't think I'm returning anytime soon.

Awesome place! I love comic books so this place was like heaven to me. It has a whole lot of comics from both Marvel and the DC universe. The owner was very nice and friendly and I'm happy I can "geek" out with him while I was purchasing. As a huge nerd lol, this place is my sanctuary so I highly suggest going. I will be going 2-3 times a week there because I love that place so much.

You remember being 12 years old... your bmx bike was the golden ticket to freedom that you took for granted. You might have saved up some lawn mowing money or endured visits to your great aunt for that little $5 palm grease you got for pinches on your cheeks, either way you ended up at your local comic book shop, to find the muscled heros and butsy super villains of your youth.

Turns out that although you have traded in your sweet bmx for a minivan, and you now have a mortgage, your favorite comic book shop survived through your twenties & thirties...and now that you have kid, you owe it to yourself to give them the memory of that smell, that giddy excitement. You won't miss the 5 bucks and your kid will think your RAD. Your wife might even think that maybe there is still a kid inside of that grumpy frumpy body you lug back and forth to work everyday.

Time to be the hero you used to read about, and take your niece, nephew, son and daughter down to this piece of your youth. The shop owner has all the swagger of the guy you remember and you might even set up a pull list after you chat him up.

Excelsior!!!
