I really hate writing bad reviews but the truth must be told about selling to this location.

First off, I took in 9 out of 12 items WITH tags and was blown away by $1.95 offering for practically every item it seemed (will post receipt for reference).

Secondly, they don't give you an option of taking up their offer or not. They will just hand you your bin back with the items they don't want and let you know with a receipt how much they will buy your items for, which is ridiculous. Shouldn't you ask if I approve or not before you take my items? I would have said NO to $21 credit SMH.

Thirdly, I overheard a male employee talking with another coworker about a customer! So unprofessional and rude, especially being that the topic was talking trash about the customer complaining about an overpriced stroller. Employees should keep that trash talking for the break room or outside of the business, just saying, not a good look for customer service.

I can only imagine taking in used items that are in great condition because it seems they want to pay you as little as possible even with tagged items. This was my first and last experience selling to them. Pretty bummy experience all around. I hope the owners take this review into consideration and do better.

I'll also post pictures of my tagged items and untagged items and the totaling amount of $21 they gave me

Almost new baby products and clothes! They have a 10 for $10 with baby clothing including name brand onesies. Also have toys, books, strollers, backpacks, baby carriers, diaper bags, etc. Also have a changing room full of diapers in the back. The people working there were also very nice and helpful

I like there dollar clearance sales , but other than that they are a rip off. Dirty old crocs sold for 14$ is insane to me. Infant pants 5$ .. you can get brand new stuff at target for that price.. they over price 90% of there items and it's not cool for used stuff. Went yesterday and it's honestly sad to see stuff that price for us mom's who are trying to get second hand stuff for our babies. Better off buying brand new . Same price . Sorry not sorry

I have been coming here for the past 5-ish years for my kids clothes because I can find some lightly used clothing at a reasonable price. Up until today, I have never sold items to them. My kids have outgrown the bouncers/ walkers/ activity centers, so I took them those items to try and sell them. One of the items for example was a Skip Hop activity center in very good condition, no scratches no dents, none of the toys missing and I washed the seat very well. Target has that item priced at $130. They offered me $10 at Once Upon a Child 🥲🥲 I understand they need to make a profit but that is SUCH a lowball. I saw the same activity center on their sales floor with 2 of the toys missing and they had it priced at $40 🧐. The ladies working there, made it clear that ALL ITEMS need to be in working order and complete. I pointed out that the one they are selling already, was missing some of the toys. Long story short, I will keep looking for lightly used clothes here but will NEVER try selling any items or clothes because it really felt like a ripoff.

Good chance of your ITEMS BEING LOST if you sell here.
*edit* I find it convenient that you're blaming the smell on Marijuana to cover your horrid service, losing items, and messy store. There is NO possible way that ANY of my items smelled of Marijuana. There are literally new tags on many of them and plastic items and they have NEVER been exposed to Marijuana. You have so many negative reviews, this is an embarrassing attempt, truly laughable. Nobody is stupid enough to try and sell smokey items to a clothing store of any kind. This is the same as you telling the other person in the bad reviews that they brought in an already broken swing. Good luck with your business.
The perfect place to come if you want to be treated rudely & have your items given away by mistake! I have sold here before & had good experiences shopping as well, but I will not be back.
Yesterday an older woman helped check me in, she was nice & I felt the interaction was good. She explained the new points system. She told me I could pick up my clothes the next morning since I wouldn't be in Modesto later. When I came in today, the male worker greeted me briefly & started looking for my stuff. Without looking at me he puts a box on the counter and says "unfortunately we cannot buy any of your items because they have a stench". It wasn't my box of items but someone else's so I said so, & that I have 4 boxes, and I asked what he meant about a stench. A young girl employee started looking for my 4 boxes, & located them under a huge mess of items thrown in a pile, and started handing them to me. She was polite & asked if I needed any help to my car. I asked again about the stench and he told me that "the items need to be washed". Everything had been washed & wiped down already, there's not a stained item in the box, so I could hardly believe this. I then started picking items out of my box that belonged to someone else, that the workers had put into my box. One of these was a dock-a-tot type crib insert & I know they're expensive. So had I not said something I would have walked out with someone else's expensive items in addition to my own because of their mistake and clutter.
Of the 4 boxes that I brought in, one was a box of plastic toys, & one had brand new items with tags and baby shoes (so barely worn). It's not even possible that all 4 boxes of items had a supposed stench. As for the other 2 boxes the clothes were right from the washer & into the box, so I guess Lavender is considered a stench.
Regardless of everything else, if they really truly actually felt that there was a stench then they could've politely declined the items, instead of him refusing to look me in the eyes & telling me that "there's a stench". I feel like he went out of his way to be rude to me, the rudeness felt very intentional.
I confronted the workers & said that they need to do a better job keeping track of people's items, and the male said "well its very disorganized in here". LOL exactly, so get it under control! I'm surprised its that hard for 6+ people to keep a small shop in working order. Stop accepting sells if you can't keep track of what you already have.
Everything I brought was nicely folded, with like items organized together & the boxes were labeled. My guess is that someone thought I looked unkempt when I dropped the stuff off while running errands yesterday & they decided they weren't going to bother looking at what I even had. The rude way I was treated was enough to not want to come back, but the fact that they gave me other people's items shows they are way too disorganized to be trusted to keep track of the items you try to sell to them. I would be leary of leaving anything with them.
I will not be a shopper or seller here again & neither will my 3 sisters, mother, MIL, or cousins. I frequently recommend this place to people and obviously I wont be anymore. Get some better customer service skills & you wouldn't be losing 10 customers from one interaction.

Save your time, energy, and gas. I took in three boxes of items, many that were barely worn. They didn't take anything except a jacket and couple other items for which they gave me $5. It was an incredibly insulting experience. I know I recognize quality and sellable items. I don't believe they even looked through the items except the very top. When I asked why, the woman said, "maybe because of the way they are put in here," As she dug her hand in the box and lifted up clothes that were washed and folded. She also said "maybe they are older styles". I have a 2 year old and a five year old. And lots of "older" pieces are awesome as they are unique. She showed me one tiny stain on a shirt. I showed her another item which was only worn twice and they said it was faded. Black cotton normally fades a bit after a wash. She claimed their lights are really good. So beware.

It doesn't make any sense.
I shopped around for a couple of hours and I saw plenty of old styles, lots of faded items, and a pair of shoes for $8.50 that were straight dirty. It is hit or miss to find a good deal as some items are over priced.

To make matters worse, once I got home and started taking pictures to list the items myself, I found that that the few things they kept were parts of sets that I can't sell now. They laid the snow jacket over the other few items they wanted and hid the fact that favorite items were underneath!!! For the measly pennies they paid for the nicest items, I shouldn't have even left them there. I wouldn't have if I had known what they kept. Never again! I should have listened to the negative reviews.

Also, They were busy, giving people four hour wait times to look at items. I had to drive back home to the other side of town and return again later, wasting my gas, to be told almost nothing was accepted. I'll include a couple pictures below of some of my items so you can see what they disregarded.

It's a zero stars really. Seems this is a place for people hurtin for money and they are so picky about what they take its crazy. So unless you wash everything or it's brand new don't waste your time. Even if the items are gently used, which isn't that what people are there for Then don't waste your time here.
