What a splendid shop!!! My son loves Gundam and while we're visiting San Diego wanted to go and see what Gunnzo had to offer. The people that work at Gunnzo are so knowledgeable and welcoming! The store had TONS of Gundam options and at all different price ranges. Also, they had all the supplies that you'd need to build and customize them.

I'd highly, highly recommend Gunnzo to anyone in the market for model making sets (whether you're a newbie or a veteran builder).

Sick spot. I walked in not knowing which Gundam model I wanted and ask for some help. Everything was explained to me in detail and I was able to make an informed decision. Definitely going back for another model.

Super neat little spot in Old Town San Diego with a HUUUGE selection of Japanese model kits for those mecha and gundam fanatics. They offer a small selection of other Japanese toys from Bandai and such as well but the majority of the shop is dedicated to the model kit. So much so that it’s printed on the floors!
They didn’t have what I was hoping for, which was soft vinyl figures but I know plenty of collectors who love assembling kits and this is the place to go to find something new to add to your collections.

Very cool shop has a lot of great things especially if you like anime. You're able to find tokidoki here and Gundam. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly parking is easy to find they have a huge parking lot up on a hill. All the prices of the items are very reasonable.

If you like Gundam, don't miss out on the opportunity to visit this place. We have visited several hobby stores near San Diego for gundam models (Gunpla). Hands down, Gunnzo has the largest variety of Gunpla kits. Even the gundam base pop up shop at Mercari didn't have as good of a selection. There were several MG kits to choose from and an insane amount of HG and RG kits. They have built HG and MG models displayed, and can be used to get an idea of what the size differences are. From what i can tell, prices of the Master Grade kits were within 10 dollars (give or take) of what i could find online, but it works out because there is no shipping fee, you get your kit on the spot, and you help out your local business. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gundam markers, paints, nippers, tape, drill bits, and other modeling tools are sold here.

Great spot for ramen! There was about a 20 minute line at peak dinner time but still easy to find seats and service was very quick. Sides and add ons are awesome and the menu is simple because they do it so well!

Great little shop. Blown away with the Gundam selection to say nothing of some other great products and tools.

Red (probably spelled wrong haha) was awesome and immediately made me want to return again.

Absolutely going to be my go to spot for hobby and gunpla needs going forward.
