I barely walked into the store with my infant and the Asian lady told me to zip close my purse. Lady , at least welcome me first before you assume I am a thief. Horrible customer service poor employees I am never coming back here.

This worker/owner ruined my experience here I loved coming here but not anymore after today !
I came in this store and I told my son he can grab whatever he wants as a early gift he grabbed a teddy bear and tossed it in the air , I told my son don’t toss anything in here you can ruin it so he put it back and saw a different one he liked and picked it up , then the man grabbed it from my son’s hand and put it back where it belongs . He didn’t even bother to say can you please not toss the teddy bear. I found it rude that he just snatched the teddy bear away from my 5 year old son. Then he said oh your going to buy it $20 I said not anymore after he took it away from you to my son and We walked out. Please respect your customers!!

Extremely low quality store. Managers are ruthless & racist. Employees are wonderful but the managers are terrible. Avoid this store if you are a minority, dark skin, or generally just not white.

If your diabetic and you tall them you need your bag for your med, they don't care. If you have any medical problems, not the store for you!

In belief how this store is still in business. Starting with horrible customers service. Rude owner Judges on the spot. Assuming we’re going to still her merchandise. As soon as I walked in she glanced and ignored my greeting. Begins to inform me in a rude demeanor leave you bag at the front. I was flabbergasted I followed by telling her I have my important meds for example I have a chronic illness and have to have my meds with me at all times. Which it didn’t phase her one bit. I proceed I left the bag and made a quick purchase. I felt so embarrassed she kept scoping my area. The only reason I bought from the store is to prove a point. Not all people of colors are crooks. Good luck to this establishment!!!!!!!!

Nice selection of items but the environment is extremely unwelcoming. They watch you like you are going to steal and make you leave your things at the front. Unfortunately, it seems like this is a problem with other stores under the New Star name. Maybe they should invest in better security since they're paranoid about stealing.

First time and last time that I come to the store I barely walked at the door and the lady was very rude she didn't said welcome or hi the first thing she said oh no food allowed you have to put it on the table I have some cupcakes and groceries from the Ralph the store nearby I parked my car far away and that's why I was carrying my bags I guess she thought that I was going to steal something from the store I'm never coming back here.
