My husband and I love this store, we’ve already bought the second parrot in a year😅 African grey and violet Indian ringneck 💜 We also love to visit and communicate with other birds in this store🥹

I am an unrepentant bird person, and I have been in serious need of finding another addition or two in my life. This visit was a scouting mission for my special friend, who said that she isn't ready for another 2 weeks. I sent her pictures and price ... and there were quite a few baby cocktails to choose from. The one white bird on my finger was friendly and alert ... but it was posed. The little one didn't know how to get up on a finger by itself! It was very friendly! One of the babues in the other cage decided to ask me to feed it ... naking that telltale sound, with corresponding head jerking. Sadly, I had to leave it to be soon fed by the owner, and I'll return in a couple of weeks to be able to get one or more.

I got my cockatiel, Peeps, from here! I love her beyond words.

The owner is so sweet and his care about birds is evident. He has a huge selection of toys and food. I couldn’t recommend Birds Plus more- Thank you for giving me my Peeps. ❤️

After buying two parakeets at Canoga Discount Birds, which one died within a week….and going to the store to complain, my husband came home with 2 more. I was worried that these might die too so I took them to a vet and had all three checked out. They tested their poop, because one had diarrhea. Within a month two of my birds died and we were left with Sky who needed to be treated for his ongoing diarrhea and mites. He had to be treated every 2 weeks from May 1st to August 14th when he got a clean bill of health. We wanted to get Sky a friend so after researching, I came to Birds Plus on Burbank in Van Nuys. I am happy to say after a month already Luna is great and Sky is happy. When you look at the birds at Birds Plus…..they all look so healthy and the owner is so kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store. Luna is the yellow and green one.

The person behind the counter was very personable and helpful. He also made my Opals first nail trim experience great, quick and easy. As well as giving me advice with aftercare which I had no idea because I'm a first time bird owner.

Looking for Bird's? This is the place to go. All kinds of birds, in the heart of San Fernando Valley. Not only birds, but everything you need from bird toys, food and cages. It is a one stop shopping for all my bird's need. This is not just a review, I shop here and I am very happy with the service and friendly conversations. Lloyd and his partner are very nice, friendly and helpful. Depending on what day you go you will meet one of them. Very nice atmosphere and great variety of birds. If you could not handle too much noise (from birds) make sure to have earplugs with you.
