Went to Smyths Toys (Warrington) for first time today as daughter is pregnant so was looking at prams and other baby things, served by Gill for baby rocker she helped show me how it worked very professional and friendly and Mia served at the till also very polite and friendly. Can really see a great Company Ethos as soon as you walk in the store very relaxed and I was very happy as my future son in law just started working there and he’s very quiet and shy but lovely lad and glad he’s found a nice environment to work in. Keep up the good work Smyths Management

We are really disappointed with the difference price displayed. They showed £10 different in the same product. I don't want to make my kid feeling bad so I still purchase it.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING YOUR CONSOLE FROM HERE

Recently bought a PlayStation 5 for my birthday and it keeps over heating and doing the three beeps and completely shuts off.
I’ve tried returning it to the store for a refund but they only offer a refund inside the 30 day window of buying

I have tried to contact Sony and they told me that they could fix the issue or replace for a new one I told them that I don’t want a new one and just want a refund and they told me that I have to speak to the store about the refund
Now I am stuck with a ps5 that doesn’t work!!

I definitely will not be buying an electrical item from this store again.

Customer experience isn’t to my taste….
Smyths is the defacto Toys r Us replacement, invoking memory’s of the warehouse aisles piled high of my childhood. But unlike Toys r Us the prices are generally good, enhanced with some decent offers from time to time.
What I don’t enjoy though is the store’s use of headsets and their take on security. I’m guessing they must have a real issue with shoplifting or something as I always feel like I’m being watched and the staff are only ever half engaged with me as they are constantly being fed messages over the radios. And god forbid when I wanted to look over something that was behind their desk today to see what the specs/version was. The girl on the till was less than helpful and wouldn’t let go of the item at any point. What did she think? That I was about to leg it out the door? That’s just insulting! Just tag stuff or put a guard on the door. A toy shop should be a place of joy and freedom, not feel like some sort of authoritarian state.

Visited today wanting to look at travel systems before we decided and bought one. We spent a while debating between 2 prams and the lovely lady, Georgia, came over and helped us. She got both prams down & demonstrated everything to us & was extremely patient with us even though she had quite a few customers in her section at the time! She was friendly, helpful and really good at giving us advice on car seats etc. She then further assisted us on buying a next to me crib. We ended up on deciding on a pram thanks to her and can’t wait to come back to collect it ?

Warrington has a policy that they do not accept Visa Master Cards, my friends from abroad were told to go to Tesco to the cash point.
They had no idea where Tesco was
They have been in this country for 3 weeks and used their card regularly

My partner came in a week ago to buy a gift for me and he was served by a lovely lady named Rachel. She was knowledgeable about the product. Helped him pick what was what and was delightful. We can't say what an asset to your team she is enough!! and should be recognised so! Thanks Rachel!
