We were returning 2 gifts bought from smyths, they had already got them. Swapping them was so easy and Sophie, our server was amazing, she knew exactly what she was doing and made everything so stress free. Well done.

Probably the best toy store in the country , can't believe it is on my doorstep . Very accessable from the A50 which connects Derbyshire to Stoke on Trent .
Plenty of free parking, with some other large stores and eating outlets nearby . There is also a bus station less than 5 minutes walkaway .
They stock an excellent range of toys at competitive prices .they cater for babies , toddlers all the way up to video gaming , and offer in store collection for online sales , and can also deliver .

I went in the toy store in longton for 4 gift cards for my grandchildren at 4pm, when I got home I realised I had picked up the wrong gift cards, so the following morning I took them back hoping to exchange for the right ones, they hadn't been touched, I had my receipt, went to the counter and explained, this young boy said we don't exchange gift cards, I said they were Christmas presents for my grandchildren, no still can't change them, I said can I see the manager, he spoke to him on his head phones, the manager says no, I thought how rude that he didn't even come to speak to me personally, so I took the cards and told them I would never go in the shop again, there's no signs saying that these cards aren't refundable or exchangeable, I think it's shocking, that's £80 down the drain, I will never go in the shop again.

Bought a Christmas present for my daughter and it was one of the things she really wanted. Pressed the buttons and it didn’t work. So opened the battery compartment to find one of the battery components completely corroded. So now my daughter cannot use this present until we’ve got a replacement. Not a happy customer.

Fantastic toy shop. Very reasonably priced. Staff look like they are dosed up on Valium, not surprising given the number of hyperactive kids swarming around. Well worth a visit (much better than shopping online) just to see the look on your nippers face.

Honestly can't praise the staff enough... I visited 08.04.2024 and my son whom is autistic non verbal was ever so upset and the staff and manager looked after him whilst in store ...you've made him such a happy boy and a happy mother lol ? thank you kindly

Great place to get toys and plenty of other things such as games consoles and bikes. Also have a baby section for prams, car seats and other stuff. Used this store loads and never had any issues. The only complaint which has absolutely nothing to do with the store is the car park, especially around Christmas time, as it gets very busy as there is only one way in and out.

It's the best it has everything I want all the time, funko pops, sensory toys, video games,skateboards EVERYTHING. Its always cheap to. I got a skateboard for £9 and I can get funko pops for as cheap as £5. Fidget toys are usually less than a fiver. EVERYTHING U WANT ALL OF THE TIME EXCELLENT QUALITY AND PRICES!!!
