I loved this shop. Went during a vacation in the San Diego/Carlsbad area. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Prices were good. They let me back into the warehouse area to look at jelly rolls and layer cakes that had not even been added to their inventory system yet. And they happily shipped my purchase home at no cost to me.

Mecca to quilters everywhere. I grew up on Elenor Burns' Quilt in a Day books, seminars and shows. This huge shop didn't disappoint me. Every kind of fabric imaginable and a helpful staff who sews and speaks my language. One crossed off my bucket list!

Sorry to say that this is the second time I went to this fabric shop and got the cold shoulder from the sales associate. The sales associate just ignored my presence. This time I got a name “Robin”. I am a woman of color and was made to feel un-welcomed. I got no “how can I help you” no welcome to our shop.. nothing! I say this because there was another woman there who was not of color, Robin looked my way and helped her first when the lady had said “help her” meaning me; Robin didn’t! and then another person came in not of color and “Robin” quickly went to help her and gave advise about quilting. I got no help from the sale person until I asked for her name, she said “so you can complain”. Last time I didn’t ask for a name nor wrote a review but this time I decided I would. Probably not that it matters to the owners of this shop… I will go there again nor will I recommend it to my fellow quilters. If I could give a Zero, I would.

Very small store but a very nice selection of lovely fabrics and all the tools as well as patterns and books needed to make quilts! Classes offered - class space seems equal to store space though (sadly) classes are frequently not using all that dedicated area. Great sales offered via email (maybe daily?)... sign up for some good deals! The vast majority of their huge building is set up for the mail order side of their business.
Go only when you have a lot if time as there is most often one cashier and checking out can take a chunk if time!

The Tilda fabric website referred me here but they were sold out of the precut packs I went looking for. However, the very friendly and knowledgeable staff made it less of a loss and more of a win win helping me find alternatives among all of their great fabric choices. Yeah and cudos to the staff there.
