We went here to get ingredients for Swedish Meatballs and Pancakes. The gentleman who helped us at the deli counter was very helpful in helping us purchase the right portions, and giving us tips on how to prepare them, and extremely friendly overall (which matched our interactions with all staff).

We made the food for my boyfriend’s family today (they are Mexican, where I am from part Swedish ancestry) and they loved it! Thank You Ingebretsen’s for helping me share a part of my family’s culture!

The stuff this place has is pretty great and they definitely have a lot of stuff that you can't really find anywhere else, but they're not open very late and when I tried to go there on Sunday they were closed.

I came back today specifically to buy something from the deli and when I took my card out to pay the guy said it was cash only (you can pay with a card in the gift shop part). Who knows why - you'd think they'd want to handle cash as little as possible in the area where they're also handling food.

A nice selection of Scandinavian items, evocative of Minnesota's history of Scandinavian immigrants. In a neighborhood that is clearly in transition from the influence of other newer immigrant groups now. We bought a few small gifts for friends. Deli foods looked good though we did not buy anything as we were traveling / passing through. Glad we stopped.

Very cute and quiet gift shop, sells mostly Scandinavian but also other various Minnesotan and European goods. Deli section of the store has a wide variety of ready-to-heat foods, snacks, and meats. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Minneapolis.

Been eating the foods from Ingebretsens for Decades! Pretty much my entire life. My grandmother would always go here and get the traditional Swedish foods for Christmas. Now I come here every December and ship to Florida my Father his favorite Swedish dinner. He says there is nothing that compares in SWFL. Thank you for all the holiday traditions Ingebretsens!

This place has everything Scandinavian from angel statues to clothes to deli food including lefse and lutefisk. Street parking only, no lots nearby. Aisles are narrow not sure about wheelchair access. Credit cards ok in gift shop but cash or check only in the deli.

This is the most complete store of Scandinavia delicacies and gifts you will find in North America. The quality is top notch so forget IKEA pricing!

Canadians: with the current exchange rate you will find most items in the high end of price and we can find many food items in Montreal for 25-50% less.
Example: Anna’s Pepparkakor $5 USD here and $3,89 CAD ($2,79 USD) at my local IGA or Metro store. This is obviously nobodies fault but I was trained by Ingvar Kamprad to know the cost of every single in my department compared to competitors! ?

Highly recommended even if you just stroll around.

Note: butcher section takes cash ? only so must be high taxes in Minnesota too ?
