The Hobby Place at Ace is a solid hobby shop. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. I had an issue with an RC TaylorCraft I bought, but they made the return easy and helped me pick out a cute Super Cub instead. Tested it today, and it flies great. I'll definitely be back!

Great, full service hobby shop like you used to find in every town. Amazing armor and Gundam/gunpla selection, planes, trains and RC. Decent tool selection, AK paints, Vallejo, Tamiya, Mr Color. Friendly staff - well worth the visit if you're in Tucson

This place was so dope!!! I wanted to buy so much but they didn’t take food stamps!! All jokes aside picked up a Traxxas slash VXL the guy that works there was like a jet li with rc cars and hooked it up!!!!!! He helped me make the best Decision!!! Been back three times already now!!! Getting divorced too hahaha jk but hey got some dope rc cars

Great inventory of vehicles and hardware but not really well organized as I found out unfortunately. Not a really great place for people just starting in a rc hobby. I feel this shop can do a little better, but wouldn’t take them much to be great!

They will for sure have what you need for your hobbies but they are grossly overpriced! But this battery there for my nephew and it was $80! Wow I'm not sure if that's normal. Anyways they have great customer service very attentive staff and they do have what you're looking for for all kinds of hobbies RC cars models you name it This is probably the place to go but the prices again I stress are high.

This is the hobby only store in the country owned by Ace Hardware. Found it by chance when driving by. It seems to originally have focused on trains, but now has tons of great plastic models and a very wide range of paints that are typically hard to find. You may find a few prices a bit higher than online or less well-stocked places, but the variety of the offer makes up for it. Recommended.

The only negative I have is the haphazard way they have their military models. If you are looking for R/C, paints, trains and models this is your place for sure.

Fantastic selection of hobby essentials. They have a wide variety of paints, primers, top coats, glues, tools, and more. I could spend forever and a fortune here.

They had a far better selection of Tamiya and Mr. Color paints than any online retailer and their prices were identical when you factor in shipping. I noted a good selection of Gunpla and Star Wars models, but wasn't out to purchase any on this visit.

One of the employees was very helpful and offered to show me exactly what I was looking for the second I came in the door. He even made recommendations for weathering products. This is the best all around hobby store in Tucson. Definitely stop by if you haven't yet.
