This is one of few model train stores business left in the southland. Bring up my childhood memories about the hobby story, and I used to put small model cars, trains and planes together. Luckily it locates around the corner and the owner is talking very friendly. They have plenty of train sets and accessories in the selection. Highly recommend to train hobby lovers.

Very helpful people here. I came in with a Scale Trains DCC locomotive which I had accidentally programmed to the wrong address. I am still very new to model trains and had no idea what to do or what address the locomotive was on. I called around and went online to get answers. Most of the hobby and train shops I called were rude or unhelpful however, this place respected that I was new to the hobby. When I got to the shop, the staff directed me to Paul, the locomotive mechanic who found the locomotive’s address and tested it on their test track. I was incredibly thankful for the help and I will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend this shop. 5 stars.

Memories of my childhood! Yes, items in this store may be priced higher than the internet, but that extra amount funds the experience....rent, wages, inventory. This isn't Amazon, and I for one am thankful for that! The sights, the smells, the conversations....take you back to a time when trains and model railroading were a community experience. Bring your young kiddos here, help them to be excited about something more than a cellphone screen. Very thankful this time capsule still exists. Enjoy it while you can!

Outstanding model train store! If you like trains you must visit this store. Besides having trains of all sizes they have the materials to build your own train layout. They also do repairs and the people that work there don't just sell Trains they know all about them and appreciate Trains. When there be sure to look up to see the model train suspended from the ceiling as well as the full size real life vintage train items.

I wanted to give this place more. The selection was very lacking, most of the shelves had less and 5 trains on each (1/4 or less than what would fit) and the prices for most were high in my eye.

Massive wall of HO parts however! Plenty of magazines and books too.

They are very welcoming and can provide good advice on repairs/ work on your model trains. They have a great selection of books and dvds to assist you on your model railroad adventure. They don't have a lot of N scale rolling stock or buildings. Despite the minimal N scale, if that is a scale you are working with, they do provide some basic things like couplers and track to assist you on your journey. For other scale they have a lot of things to get your started or help you continue modeling.

Toy train hobby shop. Great place to pick up a starter set and speak with employees who are very knowledgeable and available to provide guidance and advice.

No room on the floor? The shop can even assist with having your train set hang from the ceiling.
