A train lovers dream! Lots of trains in all scales G, O, HO, N, and even Z scale! Lionel, LGB, Bachmann and more! I visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place was rather busy for a hobby shop. I will definitely be returning to this place to buy more models.

They also carry lots of train books, timetables, maps, and merchandise.
The gentleman at the counter was helping other customers with their purchases and spent a good few moments making sure he was good with his purchases. A true full service place. Be sure to budget at least an hour to take in everything!

Outstanding model Railroad store. Worth a drive, I visit every trip near Sacramento. Watch the hours as they are closed on Tuesday and some days at 4pm

I’d love to rate this place higher. I’ve purchased numerous high end Lionel engines and rolling stock through the years from them. I always feel like I’m intruding or a bother to them? Not a warm inviting environment at all. You think they’d be excited to show me the new Lionel trains that came in or something since I’ve been a repeat customer and some engines alone I’ve purchased are 600 plus dollars. Always cranky and short and act like I’m going to steal something. Literally told me to go online when I asked if they could order a specific engine from the current catalog… tried to support this local hobby shop so many times, but took their advice and exclusively deal with TrainWorld and Western depot. Way less expensive and imagine that friendly and helpful! Such a shame they are in such a cool spot too.

Took my grandson in there to just look and view model train sets. Owner even ran a few of them for us to see how they work. We thought they were very kind to us.
