Pot of Gold is an absolute treasure of a collectibles and toy store! I love visiting this charming shop, whether I’m on my own or bringing my youngest son, who’s just 4 years old. Every time I walk through the doors, I’m instantly transported back to my childhood, surrounded by a delightful array of nostalgic toys and collectibles that bring me so much comfort and joy.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to explore and reminisce. The prices are fair, which is a huge plus, especially considering the quality and uniqueness of the items available. I appreciate that I can find collectible pieces without breaking the bank.

One of the standout features of Pot of Gold is the staff. They are always friendly and genuinely passionate about the toys. I've had some wonderful conversations with them, and they’re more than willing to chat about any and all toys. Their knowledge of the history behind many of the items adds an extra layer of charm to the experience, making every visit feel special.

Whether you're a collector or just looking for a fun outing with the family, Pot of Gold is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough—each visit is a delightful journey into nostalgia, and I always leave with a smile!

We stopped in one night to get a price evaluation. I didn’t expect a smack in the face of pure nostalgia to hit me. To see toys I played with as a child. It was pure bliss. I would definitely stop in. After checking reviews I was kinda taken back by the comments. As we didn’t feel this nor experience it. The store was busy an the owner was there. He does like to talk but it never came off how they other reviews are saying he was. In terms of prices. Most things I looked at were with in reason. As in they still have to make a profit too but if you search marketplace you may find it a little cheaper but driving to get it etc doesn’t account for cost too. Super cool store. Will be back!

This place is AMAZING!!!

I took the family to a Collectible/Toy/Comic show in the area and decided to finally stop by and I'm glad I did. The selection and range of collectibles is INSANE!

A lot of their stuff is harder to find items so it's not like walking into a target and buying a mass produced/marketed barbie (or whatever). However if you're looking for something from your childhood or your children like obscure toys then this is your jam.

The staff on hand (Tara) was very friendly and accommodating to both my children...and wife lol. I just walked around and took it all in. It's really hard to take it all in. I walked out with some harder to find Hot Wheels and both kids found items that you could only find here or online.

I would highly recommend stopping by, you'll leave with a smile!

It is thee LAST toy store that is open. No more Toys R us... No kaybee's... Thee last toy store. There is so much to look at. The owner is very knowledgeable about the products. The prices are about the same to what you'll find them for online. Whenever I visit I always leave with cool stuff

This place is a fantastic, small, local business, and I regret not stopping by more often! I started going in there when my 1st grandchild really started getting into toys & having "favorites". I had just introduced my young grandson to my favorite childhood toy/character: Godzilla (The OG, from the 60's-70's!). I walked in, was greeted so kindly by the owner (I think his name is Tom), and he & I immediately started taking a stroll down memory lane. I could not believe how knowledgeable Tom was about everything Godzilla! I was very specific about the kind of Godzilla toy I was looking for (NOT a collector's item, no sharp spikes, something my grandson could thrash), along with my limited budget, and Tom helped me find a few small figurines. Although I was pleased with those toys, it just didn't seem like enough for my special boy's birthday. Before walking out, Tom called me back in to show me a big box of mismatched used toys that hadn't been inventoried yet. He said that he wouldn't mind if I rummaged thru the box for any "hidden treasures". I found the perfect addition to the small figurines: a large, gently used Godzilla that became one of my grandson's favorite toys!
My return visits to the store (& listening to Tom's encyclopedia-like knowledge of toys) didn't disappoint, either! Tomorrow is my grandson's 7th birthday party, and you can probably guess where I'm heading today!
Even if you're not looking for anything specific, or you leave without making a purchase, this Pot of Gold is absolutely worth your time! (Tom even said that, if I was looking for a specific product, he would do his best to get his hands on it for me!)

This is the best toy and collectible shop in California. The selection is massive and quality of inventory is also great. Prices are consistently below what you expect to pay on eBay, they also take trade-in's on certain items that are in demand. They repair certain toys (did a great job on my 1980's GI Joe figures). Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Pot of Gold

Pretty patronizing shop keep. Asked if they had something I was looking for the proceeded to tell me about a toyline I've been interacting with nearly all of my life as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Was the kind of gate keepy atmosphere toy collectors have been trying to distance themselves from for the past 20 years. Can't recommend honestly.

The owner can be a little intricate but at the end of the day, at least he gives a damn about keeping this passion alive.
