We are very happy with our beautiful floating frames for my father’s paintings. It was challenging as the canvas had warped over the decades and they were not flat. Tom was great to work with abd he was transparent and solution focused. Custom framing is not inexpensive but worth it for special pieces.

I took a Counted Cross Stitch piece into the FrameStore to be mounted and framed. I worked with Tom at the Hermosa Beach store—he was patient and listened to my requirements and made suggestions at to how best to show off the piece, but let me make the final choices. I had two paintings that I needed framing. They've been sitting in a closet for a few years and I decided it was time to do it. I found The Frame Store in Hermosa Beach and decided to check them out. One painting, we believe was my husband's Grandma's work, we had framed. The other was a friend's brother who is an artist, his Mayan women, and it needed to be wrapped or stretched. Both came out beautifully. I definitely recommend them. They did beautiful work. The Italy painting is above a china cabinet, and I wasn't able to get a really good picture, but I hope you can see the beautiful frame.

Mike Stevenson was outstanding as he was challenged by a unique and complex framing project from my wife Angelica. He took his time and made some key calls from subject matter experts. The final result was a beautiful frame showcasing an original art piece. In addition, he was also warm and friendly and made us feel thoroughly comfortable.
