I have known and worked with Peabody Gallery and Framing for years and would highly recommend this custom frame shop and art gallery to anyone who really appreciates high quality customer service and top of the line art work from such artists as Dr. Seuss and Tom Everhart. The attention to detail in the framing for both the design and the professional archival custom handling of client's work or items is extrordinary. I do not hesitate to have them frame my most precious items and my most expensive artwork. It is a local small family business that has been around for over 20 years that I know of and even employees are part of the family and have been there for years. This continuity shows in their professionalism and dedication to providing excellent service.

I had three pieces framed at Peabody Fine Art in January 2018. I was amazed at the selection of frames, especially ones that fit thick (1-2”) canvases. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and has a great eye for which frames would best complement the artwork. She was patient and pleasant as I explored dozens of options, ultimately choosing the first frames she selected. Why not five stars? One of my pieces wasn’t finished on time because the material arrived with some dents. I would have liked a proactive call saying my order would be delayed, rather than to find out when I arrived on the due date. Fortunately, the material was reordered and the frame was finished in a couple of days. All the frames were perfectly constructed. Overall, I highly recommend this place.m

Great quality frames. They worked with me to find the perfect color, size, and price options. Takes three weeks to a month for the work to be done. The only con is it is a bit expensive compared to other places.

We decided to go to this place to frame an artwork after reading all the positive reviews here. But our experience was very disappointing and we decided to go to a different framing place instead.

We purchased the artwork from a gallery in Switzerland, it’s a really valuable piece, and we were excited to get it framed. The staff was friendly and helped us unpack the packaging, but he DIDN’T seem to know how to handle artwork professionally. He didn’t wear gloves when touching the artwork, he put a mat on top of the center of the artwork, we asked him multiple times to stop making physical contact with the piece, but he didn’t seem to understand/care and continually made close contact with his hands and tape measure while insisting us not to worry. We felt extremely uncomfortable to leave a special piece with someone who can’t handle it respectfully/professionally.

Would NOT recommend this place for framing art.
