I do not understand all one star reviews. The owner was very kind and helped us pick out the perfect flower girl dress for my daughter. It was a really great experience. The dress was beautiful and reasonably priced. You’re not able to try the dresses on but the owner is great at measuring for size. The boutique also has hair bands and bows and beautiful shoes that you can try on.

Best place for formal dresses. I have purchased 2 flower girl dresses and 2 white dresses. All of them have been gorgeous, made with good quality fabric, excellent seaming and great prices. Shoes, sweaters and other accessories are also available. No fitting rooms available but they can measure for size. Wheelchair accessible and store is well lit.

They don’t allow try ons but if it doesn’t fit you can exchange only. How does this policy make sense ? Not going to spend $100 on a dress for a kid without knowing if it’s going to fit her.. and inconveniently have to drive back for an exchange because of their ridiculous policy. Don’t shop here go somewhere that offers good customer service.

TL/DR: Unethical and illogical policies using the pandemic as a lame excuse for poor service.

I called the store Saturday afternoon and spoke with a gentleman who informed me that they were only allowing guests to try on just one dress during their visit. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted for our daughter and proceeded to make arrangements to take the 45 minute drive to bring her in that evening to try something on. We were greeted by a woman pretty soon after our arrival (gave a star for that) and my daughter and I were very excited to see all the beautiful options they had that fit what we needed for our event.

After a little bit of browsing, my daughter picked a dress she liked and wanted to try on. Understanding this would be our “one”, we asked if she could try it on to make sure it was comfortable and the size fit well. The woman told us that due to the pandemic, they weren't allowing guests to try on the dresses at all. She proceeded to have my daughter hold the dress up against her body as the woman pulled the bow taut behind her to get a sense if it would fit. I informed the woman of my earlier conversation with the gentleman where he explained that we could try on one dress but she pretty much brushed off my comment and said that we could try it at home and exchange it if it didn't fit. I confirmed with her and she explained that they don’t offer returns, only EXCHANGES! I asked if my daughter could at least try it on over her clothes and the woman abruptly declined. Having driven nearly 45 minutes to go to this specific store, my daughter and I were very disappointed and left.

I completely understand when something is "final sale” or “exchanges only”, but I can't justify spending $100-$250 on a dress without at least making sure it fits comfortably. What "COVID-related" issue can possibly happen to the dress while putting it on for 2 minutes that couldn't have already happened while she had my daughter press the dress up against her body? And why is it that we can take it home to try it on and bring it back to exchange it without a concern for the pandemic but can't try it on over her clothes at the store?

What it sounds like to me is a sleazy sales tactic meant to weasel customers into guaranteeing the store owner a sale rather than putting in the work to provide excellent service. I’m very unhappy about the contradictory information given to us over the phone by the gentleman who answered that afternoon. I believe he was the same one there when we arrived and yet he stayed completely out of the way and silent during our chat with the woman, likely his wife. Maybe this is the game they play? Not sure, but I wasn’t falling for their trap.

Why five because it is just a small mom and pop store for children's clothing. There isn't a store like this for another 30 miles. They also do custom special order if you don't like the dress at the store. Bad thing is they do exchanges no refund.... They told me because people go in with credit card and fraud cases happen where they just lose merchandise

The one is only so I can write a review, I order and pay in a full for a little girls dress. They call me,so I went in to pick up the dress.I try explaining that I lost my receipt but the owner gave such a hard time.My daughter put her name on the receipt even that bother the owner because, if I didn't have a receipt the I'd needed to much. All this for a dress that was purchase full in cash.I been shopping here for several years, never had a problem before. This is the last time I come here to this shop.I have no time for all this crap.

They don't allow any photos. This is very discouraging when trying to buy a surprise gift for a child without being able to send a picture to the parent and solely going off of a description
