One of the few toy stores. Unfortunately, many have already died out.
Here, people still put their heart and soul into their work. You notice this in the loving furnishings and the fact that they have an answer to every question.
It's definitely better than online stores.

The chess set that I bought there was missing a black pawn. Instead of resolving the issue, they asked me to contact the manufacturer. It was unclear to me if the set had already been used or not. It clearly wasn’t sealed completely so it could likely have been a used chest that that was missing a piece that they sold to me. $50 I expected it to be brand new and have all the pieces there. If it was missing a piece, then it would’ve been helpful if the store had gone to the manufacturer for me or taking a return, or just resolve the issue a little bit more elegantly instead of putting it back on me to fix the problem. They were nice about it but did not resolve the issue

What a cool place to go for nostalgic games/toys/figures!!! Check out the Funko Pops! So many rare and hard to find collectables. Heard other customers complain about packaging, but understand most items you just cant find anymore. A true collector of vintage toys would love and understand the beauty of this amazing store. I walked out with great items that I have not seen or heard of anywhere! Love the enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff as well.

Great shop! The two employees who were working today ( 12/11/22) were so wonderful. They helped me distract my five year old and charge me discretely for a Christmas gift I have not been able to find anywhere! My son is a big Santa believer and I didn’t want to leave the store without this toy.
The employees did their thing and I was able to walk out with the toy without my son ever noticing a thing.

I hate to say this but I don’t think this place will last much longer. I mean it’s less than half of what it used to be.
I take my kids and we try to support it but toy selection is not to exciting and the one that are like the legos are totally over priced.
I don’t mind paying more since I know the rent at the promenade is huge but come on! I’m not an idiot either. For tourist it may work.
But for locals who know target is a block away nahhhhh

Went in today (5 months later) and my daughter bought some funny little plastic pull toy. Looks like a giant expandable straw. She loves it. It was $10 I let her buy it to support them. May go back to get another one tomorrow for my son. I know they’re cheaper other places but I like to support local stores when I am not being ripped off that much lol

You got an amazing selection of pop toys in there! Definitely recommend people checking this place out if you are interested in this sort of stuff. Besides that they have a small marvel figures collection in there. But I think the rest of the store is catered towards kids, I could be wrong though.

If your looking for anything cool, collectable, and unique on the coast, this is the place to go. This is one of my favorite stores in Santa Monica and go here every time I visit. I just wish they had more stuff like Frank & Sons at Industry.
