Called to see if they had the pipettes I've purchased from them in the past. Woman was ridiculously rude, handed off the phone to a guy who was already angry and acted as if I was asking an impossible question. He realized I was correct that there were two sizes that they stock and I wanted the smaller one. No hint of an apology for being so rude when I was just asking a VERY simple question. They will NEVER get my business or any recommendation. I have never experienced a more hostile retail environment.

The people working are so sweet. They are very funny and sarcastic:D they have so many cool things, however I see people treat them poorly because they will ask a question they don’t realize is hard to answer when you have thousands of stock or you simply don’t have a certain thing. Some people don’t seem to get their sarcasm and take them as rude, it’s really sad to see people don’t get humor anymore.overall they are really funny and helpful and have lots of cool items for many people!

Nice shop for those who are looking for HO or N guage models. There is a very very limited selection for O guage. Staff was nice. They have a very large selection of scenery materials like ballast.

Great Train store!!! I was recently in town I business and had time to visit. AMAZING book selection! I've never seen so many books, magazines, and instruction manuals in one shop. Nice assortment of models from all manufacturers in all known scales. Also a wide variety of consignment items. I picked up a recently released SP book and magazine. I also found a TTX caboose in HO. Never seen one before, great find. Friendly service, knowledgeable staff, professionally run business. Prices are well below retail.
Highly recommended!!! 👍🚂

There so I got two things so did my brother I got a Southern Pacific GE u28 locomotive also know as the “u boat” a submarine used by the Germans and nazis in world war 1 and 2 it runs nice though the sound needs work on i also got a southern pacfifc boxcar too my brother got a amtrack combine and observation car for his vintage amtrack train consist overall this lady is nice and I think she loves her work. I came here wanting to buy a train for my daughter. I was willing to spend $300 for the overpriced set because I knew I’d be supporting a small business but the lady behind the counter was very rude and told me my daughter was to young to receive that train set. Very unprofessional and useless. I will buy the set on Amazon and save over $150

What a terribly disappointing experience. We have visited the store for years, spending hundreds of dollars on sets, but tonight the owner rudely and sarcastically confronted my 13-year-old son for taking a couple of photos. There is no sign about this apparent policy, as we certainly would have respected it. When I asked about such a sign, the owner quickly became hostile and condescending. He ended by refusing to let us purchase the $50 in paint we had picked out. Honestly he did me a favor: although I will regret no longer visiting the store, I don’t want to support a person or business like that.

Brick and mortar model train store. Getting harder to find due to decline of hobby and the online business. Have a selection of most popular products.
