Hands down…the best shop around! Family owned business is always the best! Small store but he makes the best of it. Knowledgeable, super nice and a great mechanic. If he doesn’t have what you need/want…he’ll get it and fast. I highly recommend 👍

This place had a lot of cool stuff. They had alot of nice paint brands with prices on par or even better than other stores. They had this little door greeter that was showing us around. Staff were very friendly. Will come back for supplies in the future.

Decent Selection, but No Return Policy is Frustrating

My husband recently visited Palm Desert Hobbies to pick up some fun gifts for my kids. The store has a great selection of items for someone that’s really into RC cars and other stuff, and the staff seemed knowledgeable about their inventory.

However, I was disappointed to learn that the store has a strict no-return policy. This is particularly frustrating for hobbyists who might accidentally purchase the wrong item or find that a product is defective. While I understand that small businesses might have different policies to manage costs, it would be more customer-friendly to allow returns or at least exchanges for unused and unopened items.

If you’re shopping here, double-check your purchase before leaving the store. Overall, it’s a decent place for RC cars, but the return policy might make me think twice before shopping here again.

We purchases an RC car from Palm Desert Hobbies. Out grandchild gunned it in to a cement wall and it stayed in neutral. Brought it to pdh, they fixed it for no charge. That is the mom and pop store feeling that is leaving our Amazon days. Thank goodness for old fashion service!!

I can't highly recommend this place anymore, but I'm gonna put it out there. These guys are awesome, I started my order with Dave and then I ended up working with John with my special order in Palm desert hobbies. They had to deal with a shipping issue that they had no control over and hooked me up with a killer deal,
