Fair warning, the owners of this shop are making false claims on Facebook that the End of Trail sign was based off of their t-shirt design. That’s false. This shop opened in 2009 and the sign has existed since at least the 1990s. I myself was there in 2003 and took a photo of the same sign they claim to have inspired. I was able to find photos of the same sign from as far back as 1994. Do not support business owners who lie.

The guy at the counter was so rude and disrespectful, talking over me (when I was answering a question he asked) and prying into my life by asking personal questions, then having the nerve to comment on my accent. It was no wonder no one was stopping at this gift shop, and a shame because I wanted to buy a Route 66 passport, but never from him.

I stopped by in June, 2023. It was interesting ending our trip and speaking with the shop keeper. A slight problem arose when he began to keep us a little too long. The wife wanted to continue on and I told him that I had to go but might stop back. He then insulted my wife to me when she was not close by. But I honestly don't think he meant to directly insult her. I think it was suppose to be some kind of guy banter or such.
I forgive him either way. But I didn't stop back because I felt it would be disrespectful to my wife no matter how the insult was meant to be. Either way, it's a nice little shop with a knowledgable proprietor. So stop by and say hey.
